Returns & Policies

1. Original Artwork

Every BLULINE artwork is created with care. Before placing an order, please review the artwork description, dimensions, materials and any framing details provided.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and display settings. Each artwork is an original creation, and photographs are intended to represent the finished piece as accurately as possible.

2. Delivery

Delivery arrangements, costs and estimated delivery times will be confirmed before your order is completed.

Please ensure that the delivery address provided is correct. Any special delivery requirements must be agreed in advance.

For commissioned artwork, the estimated completion time is generally four to six weeks, depending on the size of the painting and the complexity of the concept. Delivery time is additional to the time required to create the artwork.

If circumstances affect the expected timeframe, BLULINE will keep you informed.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please contact BLULINE as soon as possible if your artwork arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item.

Include your order details and photographs of the artwork and packaging where possible. We will review the issue and work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution.

Your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods remain unaffected.

4. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

For eligible online purchases of existing artwork, you generally have 14 days from the day after receiving your order to notify BLULINE that you wish to cancel. You will normally have a further 14 days after notifying us to return the artwork.

Please contact BLULINE in writing before returning an item so that we can confirm the return arrangements.

Where the law permits, customers may be responsible for return delivery costs, provided this has been made clear before purchase. If an item is faulty or incorrect, your statutory rights apply.

Eligible refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law, including any required refund of standard delivery charges.

Certain exceptions may apply to change-of-mind cancellation rights, including some genuinely bespoke or personalised items. These exceptions do not remove your rights if goods are faulty or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

5. Commissioned Artwork

Every BLULINE commission is developed through a collaborative process. Before work begins, the creative brief, dimensions, materials, price, payment arrangements and estimated completion timeframe will be agreed in writing.

Commissioned artwork generally takes four to six weeks to complete, depending on the size of the painting and the complexity of the concept.

Photographs of the work in progress will be shared with the client at key stages to provide updates and help ensure that the agreed creative direction is understood.

A 50% deposit is payable before work begins, with the remaining 50% payable within seven days of receiving the completed artwork, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Any substantial changes to the agreed brief must be discussed and agreed in writing. Additional costs may apply where changes require extra work or materials.

Cancellation arrangements will depend on the circumstances, the agreement in place and applicable consumer law.

6. Framing

Framing is not included in the price of the artwork unless expressly stated otherwise.

BLULINE can provide framing options, including different designs, colours, finishes and styles. Options and prices will be discussed separately according to the artwork's dimensions, materials and the client's preferences.

No framing will be arranged without the client's agreement.

7. Contact

For questions about orders, delivery, cancellations, returns, refunds or commissions, please contact BLULINE through the website contact page or the business contact details published on the website.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.

BLULINE — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. About BLULINE

BLULINE offers original artworks and commissioned paintings. These terms explain the conditions under which artwork is purchased or commissioned. They should be read alongside our Returns & Policies.

2. Artwork and Images

Every BLULINE artwork is an original creation. Images on the website are intended to represent the artwork as accurately as possible. Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and display conditions.

Artwork descriptions will include relevant information such as dimensions, materials and framing details where applicable.

3. Prices and Payment

Prices will be displayed on the website or confirmed directly with the customer before an order is agreed. Delivery costs and any additional charges will be explained before purchase.

For commissioned artwork, a 50% deposit is payable before work begins. The remaining 50% is payable within seven days of the customer receiving the completed artwork, unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Any additional work or agreed changes that affect the price will be discussed with the client before proceeding.

4. Our Commission Process

Every BLULINE commission is a collaborative process, developed to help ensure that the finished artwork reflects the client's expectations.

Before work begins, the creative brief, dimensions, materials, price and estimated completion timeframe will be agreed with the client.

During the painting process, photographs of the work in progress will be shared at key stages. This allows the client to follow the development of the artwork, discuss the creative direction and raise any concerns while work is underway.

Our aim is to maintain clear communication throughout the process and ensure that the agreed creative direction is understood by both parties.

Any substantial changes to the original brief must be agreed in writing. Changes that require additional work or materials may incur extra costs, which will be discussed with the client in advance.

5. Commission Duration

Commissioned artworks generally take between four and six weeks to complete. The timeframe depends on the size of the painting, the complexity of the concept and the creative process involved.

An estimated completion date will be discussed and agreed before work begins. If circumstances arise that may affect the expected timeframe, BLULINE will keep the client informed.

6. Framing

Framing is not included in the price of the artwork unless expressly stated otherwise.

BLULINE can offer framing options to suit the artwork and the client's preferences, including different frame designs, colours, finishes and styles.

Available options and prices will be discussed separately. The final framing cost will depend on the selected design, materials, dimensions and specifications. No framing will be arranged without the client's agreement.

7. Delivery and Receipt

Delivery arrangements, costs and estimated times will be confirmed before an order is completed. Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

Customers should contact BLULINE promptly if artwork arrives damaged or incorrect, providing photographs of the artwork and packaging where possible.

Nothing in these terms removes the customer's statutory rights concerning damaged, faulty or incorrectly described goods.

8. Cancellations and Changes

Requests to cancel an order or commission must be made in writing.

The treatment of deposits, work already completed and any costs incurred will depend on the circumstances, the agreement between BLULINE and the client, and applicable consumer law.

Some genuinely bespoke or personalised goods may be exempt from certain change-of-mind cancellation rights. However, statutory rights relating to faulty goods and other applicable consumer protections remain unaffected.

Please refer to our Returns & Policies for further information.

9. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All BLULINE artwork, designs, photographs and website images remain protected by copyright unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing an original painting transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. It does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, copy, publish, distribute reproductions of, or commercially use the artwork.

Any transfer of copyright or additional reproduction or usage rights must be expressly agreed in writing.

10. Website Content

BLULINE makes reasonable efforts to ensure that website information is accurate and up to date. Artwork descriptions, images and availability may be updated when necessary.

Such changes will not remove rights already granted to customers under an agreed order or applicable law.

11. Liability and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Customers retain their statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

12. Privacy

Personal information provided when making an enquiry, placing an order or commissioning artwork will be handled in accordance with BLULINE's privacy information and applicable data protection law.

13. Contact

For questions about these terms, artwork purchases or commissions, please contact BLULINE through the website contact page or the business contact details published on the website.

These terms are subject to applicable law and do not affect any mandatory consumer protections available to customers.
